Fargo VA FCU Raises Funds for ND Junior Achievement

Alltru, a leading Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) serving the Greater St. Louis community, is calling upon the young members of the community to express their celebration of the Juneteenth holiday through the Juneteenth Heritage Award. Open to individuals between the ages of 5 and 25, this initiative encourages participants to illustrate their understanding of Juneteenth by showcasing their creativity.

Alltru encourages participants to submit a creative or artistic work that answers the question, "How do you celebrate your Juneteenth heritage?". Entries can take the form of spoken word, written expression, dance, film, song, or visual artwork. A trusted panel of community judges will assist in honoring four exceptional participants by distributing awards totaling up to $1,600.
