Minot, ND - Each year, GEM Federal Credit Union of Minot, ND participates in the annual City Employees’ Picnic by serving banana splits to attendees. Staff from the credit union prepares and serves the sweet treats at Minot Fire Station 1. Cass Dahl, President of GEM FCU says “They do a really great job, and the city employees will talk about it all year long”.
John Hocking, Battalion Chief of the Minot Fire Department, even wrote a note to the credit union to express thanks for their participation. In part, the note said “… to let you know how much we appreciate Pam, Stacie, and Nicole’s participation in the city’s annual employees’ picnic. Their ability to make banana splits is noteworthy! I always look forward to this picnic each year and to the banana splits that GEM serves as dessert”.
