North Star Community Credit Union of Maddock, ND participated in this year’s Miracle Jeans Day fundraiser, and not only met their original goal of raising $500, but exceeded the target amount and raised a total of $740! This put the credit union at 148% of their original goal. According to Yvonne Fossen, Human Resources Manager for the credit union, they had “many, many people participating from all 5 credit union offices”. Summers Manufacturing, a local company, also assisted the credit union in their fund raising efforts and contributed $90.
Miracle Jeans Day is an annual event that raises funds for the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals.
