Huron, SD is a little bit neater, thanks to a group of credit union people!
The Central Chapter of Credit Unions gathered in mid-September to clean a 2-mile stretch of Highway 37 South of Huron, SD. They meet each Spring and Fall to participate in the Chapter “Ditch Walk”. Pictured are volunteers from Dakotaland Federal Credit Union and M-O Federal Credit Union, of Huron. Also participating, but not pictured where volunteers from Huron Area Education Federal Credit Union. Other credit unions in the Central Chapter include: HB Telco Federal Credit Union and Huron CNW Federal Credit Union, both of Huron; as well as Oahe Federal Credit Union, of Pierre. Along with pictured volunteers is “CU Carla” – the Credit Union Association of the Dakotas’ vehicle that is present at many credit union projects/events throughout the Dakotas to help promote the awesome things Credit Unions do!
