
Latham, NY - Community Resource Federal Credit Union’s Charity Committee held a calendar raffle during September and a Haunted Asylum on Saturday, October 19 and raised $3,127 for Interfaith Partnership for the Homeless and Mohawk Hudson Humane Society.
The Haunted Asylum is the Credit Union’s most involved event and included 42 employees, family members and friends to create and operate. The employee-run Charity Committee plans many fundraising activities and events throughout the year, including its upcoming Pet Photos with Santa on Saturday, December 7 to benefit Mohawk Hudson Humane Society.
“Community Resource’s employees are doing some amazing things for the community. All of us at Interfaith Partnership for the Homeless greatly appreciate it,” said Jamie Stacy, Administrative Assistant at Interfaith Partnership for the Homeless. Jamie volunteered to be the Deranged Director of this year’s Haunted Asylum. “I would definitely like to be part of next year’s event,” she added.
