Pierre, SD - Each year, Oahe Federal Credit Union offers their members the opportunity to participate in the “Holiday Skip Payment Program” during the months of November, December and January. The credit union then donates $5 from each holiday skip payment fee to a local charity.
This year, Oahe FCU raised $380.00! The credit union decided to divide it between two local charities, with $100.00 being donated to the SD Guardianship Program and $280.00 to the Hopeless to Homes Animal Rescue fund. (Hopeless to Homes is a new charity that opened as of January 1, 2014.)
