Bismarck, ND - First Community Credit Union’s team of “Fearless Fighters” raised $2,432 this year for the St. Baldrick’s Foundation during the “Brave the Shave” event that was held at the Bismarck YMCA on Friday, March 14. The FCCU team came in 15
th place out of 26 teams, which in total raised nearly $180,000 this year!
The team members included Derrick Becker, Frank Friese, Chris Masse, and Chad Schmidt, all employees of First Community CU. Joining the team this year was Myron Anton, brother-in-law to Chad Schmidt.
The annual St. Baldrick’s volunteer event organizes shavees, barbers, sponsors, donors, staff, board members and other volunteers to generate revenues – and last year raised over $34 million for children’s cancer research.
