Huron, SD - M-O Federal Credit Union staff and members had a blast with the 2014 “Catch the $ave Wave” Youth Week theme. M-O FCU staff decorated the lobby with surf boards, waves, a beach towel, and a beach chair to provide a fun backdrop for taking photos. Staff served hot dogs, chips and pop to youth and their parents. Each youth member in attendance was given a “Catch the $ave Wave” drawstring bag (ordered from the CUNA website) filled with lots of goodies; some of the items included were Pee Wee items, mini beach balls, and a
Putters & Scoops mini golf pass!
To promote the event M-O FCU ordered “Catch the $ave Wave” drive-up money envelopes from the CUNA website and placed labels on them with dates and information about the event. In addition, they put articles in their monthly newsletters leading up to the event, hung posters in the lobby areas and drive-up window, sent special mailings to their Pee Wee and Teen Club members, sent email and E*Teller messages, placed a banner on the homepage of their website, and personally invited members when they came in to conduct business.
