LOWELL, MA – On Sunday, May 18, 2014, more than 50 friends, family members and employees of Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union rallied together in support of Lowell General Hospital’s Team
Walk for Cancer Care.

Walk funds help Lowell General Hospital’s Cancer Care Center pay for medication, nutritional supplements, nursing visits and other services that make a significant difference in the lives of people living with all types of cancer. Through fundraising efforts and a corporate donation, the Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union team raised more than $5,000 for the event.
“Jeanne D’Arc employees are committed to making a difference within our community. They are passionate about helping others and especially excited to join forces for such an important cause,” said Mark S. Cochran, President and Chief Executive Officer of Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union.
Jeanne D’Arc Credit Union team members reported that walking alongside friends and family was enjoyable, but knowing they were walking in support of local residents who are striving to survive cancer provided tremendous motivation.
