Generations Federal Credit Union of San Antonio, TX is throwing down a NBA Finals challenge with a credit union in Miami, FL. Steve Schipull, CEO of Generations FCU has made a friendly bet with Mike DiBenedetto, CEO of South Florida Educational Federal Credit Union (SFEFCU).
If the Spurs win, DiBenedetto must wear a Spurs jersey around his office for an entire day. If the Heat win, Schipull has to wear a Heat jersey for a full day at his office - and “proof of wear” photos must be sent to the winning credit union! In addition, the losing CEO will make a $250 donation to Credit Unions For Kids on behalf of the winning CEO and his credit union! It seems there are no losers in this story! However, Schipull, confident in a Spurs victory, has indicated that he’s already asked the SFEFCU CEO for his jersey size.
