Credit Union Holds FREE Shred Day for Members

Huron, SD - M-O Federal Credit Union recently held a free Shred Event to help members securely dispose of unwanted, confidential documents.  Dakota Data Shred parked their shred truck in M-O FCU’s parking lot to collect the papers.  The shred truck had an inboard camera, which allowed the members to watch their documents being shredded right before their eyes.  It was a huge success – about 45 vehicles participated in this free event and about 5,850 pounds of paper were shredded!  So many members were lined up prior to the start of the event in anticipation to drop their documents off at the shred truck, credit union employees had to direct traffic.
