Credit Union Sponsoring Talent Competition

Aberdeen, SD - Brown County Fair and Aberdeen Federal Credit Union have partnered to bring a family fun event, the Rising Star Talent Competition, to Brown County’s biggest summer event again this year! Compete for cash prizes totaling $2,500! Show off your talent…acting, dancing, humor, instrumental, singing, tapping, variety, stacking cups, or whatever you've got! Amateur entertainers of all ages are encouraged to capture their talent on video and submit it along with the entry form to RisingStar@AberdeenFCU.org by 5pm on Wednesday, July 16^th. Finalist will be invited to perform on Wednesday, August 13^th at the Brown County Fair as they compete for cash prizes totaling $2,500. Monetary prized awarded will be $1,000 for 1^st place, $750 for 2^nd place, $500 for 3^rd place and $250 for 4^th place. This family fun event will be emceed by Dr. Thom Flamboe, under the Kessler’s Big Top Tent from 6:00pm to 7:30pm on Wednesday, August 13^th.
