Credit Union Raises $2,000 for Local Food Bank

Members and employees of Security Credit Union (SCU) raised $2,000 to benefit the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan (FBEM) as part of the nonprofit’s fifth annual Caring Community Credit Unions Campaign. SCU President and CEO Christopher Estes presented a check to FBEM on Aug. 6. For each dollar raised, the food bank provides six meals for those in need. This year’s contribution will provide 12,000 meals.
