Credit Union CEO Takes ALS Ice Bucket Challenge

  Rapid City, SD - After receiving the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge from John Carlson at Highmark Federal Credit Union, Roger Heacock, CEO of Black Hills Federal Credit Union in Rapid City, SD accepted the dare and took the plunge on August 20^th.  The challenge is to dump a bucket of ice cold water on your head within 24 hours or donate money.  Most participants do both.  (Find out more on theALS website.) Staff at Black Hills FCU had already collected $210 to contribute to the ALS Association by the time Roger stepped out of his office for the soaking.  Roger has extended the challenge to CUAD’s CEO Robbie Thompson, and two other “friends”.
