Bismarck, ND - Capital Credit Union recently reached its goal of saving community members $500,000 in loan interest in its recent Loan Rescue Community Challenge campaign. Capital Credit Union pledged to donate $20,000 among four area charities if the goal was reached. As members saved money by refinancing their loans, they chose their favorite charity among the four.
Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals was one of the recipients, receiving $7,428. Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals provides funding and services to 170 children’s hospitals across the United States, including Sanford Children’s Hospital in Fargo. Donations help support research, training, equipment purchases and uncompensated care, with the mission to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.
