Sioux Falls, SD - The Voyage Federal Credit Union “Dream Team”, along with members of Habitat for Humanity and volunteers from Avera Hospital showed up – in the rain- to help work on the latest project: to haul, hang, nail and brace a couple dozen trusses into two houses. Luckily, there were a few people with quite a bit of experience and a few others with confidence, but most importantly, there were many volunteers eager to help! The scaffolding was slippery and the nails wouldn’t cooperate but lots of fun was had and no one was hurt. The group even had the pleasure of meeting and working alongside Adane, who is one of the individuals that will be moving into one of the houses. The group also enjoyed refreshments, including pizza and cookies, graciously donated by Orion.
