FALL RIVER, MASSACHUSETTS, - On September 11
th, St. Anne’s Credit Union held a Casual Day for a Cause to honor the memory of those lost on 9/11 and those affected by it. Employees were asked to donate money to participate in a Credit Union wide jean day, and were able to raise $250. The funds raised will be going to two organizations, the first is the 9/11 Memorial in New York City where the Credit Union will sponsor a cobblestone to be placed in the Memorial plaza. The second is Tuesday’s Children, a family service organization that was founded to, as their mission statement says, “promote long-term healing in all those directly impacted by the events of September 11, 2001.” St. Anne’s is proud to be able to help these two organizations preserve the memory of those lost and help those affected by it.
