Voyage FCU recently donated $200 to Volunteers of America, to brighten the season for those in need.
When people come through the Volunteers of America doors, they become a part of “the family”. They all come with hopes, desires, and motivation because they want the opportunity to fulfill their dreams and improve their lives and those of their families. Volunteers of America is there to support them as they reach for their goal.
Even so, for a variety of reasons, Christmas and the holiday season can be a time of sadness and loneliness for the Volunteers of America family members. For this reason, Voyage Federal Credit Union donated $200 to help brighten the season and renew the hopes that there are people who care and have faith in them. The donation will be used to purchase Christmas gifts for the Volunteers of America participants. Their wish lists are simple and consist of shampoo, socks, warm winter coats and puzzles.
