FALL RIVER, MASSACHUSETTS - Every year since 1948 the third Thursday of October has been dubbed International Credit Union Day. It is a day established to celebrate the history and achievements of credit unions from around the world. This year’s International Credit Union Day fell on October 16
th, and the theme was “Local Service. Global Good.”, emphasizing the positive impact that credit unions have on the communities they are a part of. St. Anne’s Credit Union was happy to celebrate the day with their members by giving out Trick-or-Treat bags, International Credit Union Day pens, sharing the history of the Day, and holding a poster coloring contest for their younger members.
Shown in the picture are Alexia Allard (2 ½) and Aubrey Oliveira (4 ½) showing off their colored International Credit Union Day posters at St. Anne’s Swansea Branch.
