voyagehabitatpresentationSioux Falls, SD - Over the past 2 years, Voyage Federal Credit Union has united with six of their business partners - Raven Industries, Avera Hospital, Orion Foods, Volunteers of America-Dakotas, Century Link and Lewis Drug - in volunteering to build homes for Habitat for Humanity. This year, in addition to hundreds of volunteer hours, Voyage FCU also added to this engagement by creating a retractable banner and delightfully naming it the “Let's Find A Way” Hashtag wall.  Over the summer they brought the "wall" to all of the builds and took pictures of the individual volunteers and workers.  Then the volunteers were asked to go to Voyage FCU's website to submit a story and check out Voyage FCU's social media pages to "share" their picture. Voyage promised to donate $1 to Habitat for Humanity for every picture taken in front of the wall during the builds. They also donated another $1 for every photo shared on social media platforms and stories submitted on their website cause page. On November 6th, Voyage FCU donated $500 to Habitat for Humanity of Greater Sioux Falls, raising not only funds but awareness for this great cause.
