ft.randallcoatsforkids2.jpgSouth Dakota - During the month of November, Ft. Randall Federal Credit Union based in Charles Mix County, SD held their 2nd Annual “Coats 4 Kids” Winter Clothing Drive. The response from their community was overwhelming.  The credit union was able to collect over 200 winter coats, along with many mittens, hats, and scarves.  In addition, this year, the 6th grade class from Platte-Geddes Elementary School partnered with the credit union for their school’s service day project.  The students collected and sorted some of the coats that were distributed. The coats were donated to at-need organizations throughout Charles Mix County during the month of December. “We are so thankful to our communities for their gracious support – it was a wonderful way to start the holiday season!” stated Cassi Sprik, MSR at Ft. Randall FCU.
