FCCU members, employees, and community members were invited to participate in this great event. People of all ages brought in new or slightly used, unwrapped toys and non-perishable food items to the First Community Credit Union’s 14 branches. FCCU has donated the items to the following organizations in North Dakota: Bismarck: Salvation Army   Fargo: Salvation Army   Hankinson: Three River Crisis Center   Jamestown: Salvation Army   Milnor: Sargent County Food Pantry & Sargent County Social Services   Napoleon: Logan County Food Pantry & the Kedish House   Oakes: Oakes Food Pantry & Local Families in the Community   Portland: Portland Food Pantry & Mayville State Daycare   Steele: Kidder County Food Pantry   Valley City: Barnes County Food Pantry & the Mitten Tree   Wahpeton: Wilkin/Richland Food Pantry & Wilkin/Richland Social Service   Wishek: Wishek Food Pantry & The Kedish House “The food and toy drive is a great way to encourage community involvement for a great cause. People get so caught up in the hustle and bustle of the Christmas season so it’s nice to take a step back and realize there are so many out there in need. It makes people feel good to help make Christmas special for those who are unable to do that for themselves and their families. We always see an overwhelming donation effort and it makes this fundraiser so special,” said Janna Bergstedt, Marketing Manager of First Community Credit Union.
