Fargo, ND - The Red River Chapter of Credit Unions held their annual Holiday Social on December 9
th. An Irish Auction was held with all proceeds going to the Boys & Girls Club of the Red River Valley.
Each attendee was asked to bring a donation item of games, socks, coloring supplies, etc for the club. Robin Nelson, Executive Director of the Boys & Girls Club of the Red River Valley educated all in attendance about all the programs offered at the club. The Boys & Girls Club provides a place for children to go and learn many core life skills such as character and leadership, education and career development, health and life, the arts, sports, fitness and recreation.
A fun time was had by all, and
$1,787 was raised for the Boys & Girls Club! The Moorhead High School Carolers provided entertainment full of holiday cheer! CUAD’s EVP Government Affairs, Jeff Olson, gave a legislative update and handed out some CUAD gear to a few lucky winners. The Chapter also announced that they will be hosting a Credit Union Night at the Fargo Force on February 6
th, 2015.
