Rapid City, SD - Minuteman Federal Credit Union recently showed their continued community involvement by making a donation of cash and personal items to the Black Hills Children’s Home.
Since the early 1970’s, Children’s Home Society has provided a home, school, and therapy for children with emotional and behavioral problems. Most are victims of extreme abuse and neglect. Long regarded a state leader that champions the welfare of children, Children’s Home Society’s mission continues—to protect, support, and enhance the lives of children and families. The home has approximately 70 children, with the vast majority of children between the ages of 4 and 14.
Minuteman used the proceeds of their Jeans Day fundraiser to present a cash donation of $200, plus a box of personal hygiene items that the credit union collected. The credit union is pleased to be able to make a difference in the lives of these children in need.
