Duverge-Hilmers, who works as a guidance counselor at Coral Springs Middle School, was selected randomly from a pool of qualifying members. “I’m very excited and this is quite unexpected. It couldn’t have come at a better time and I really appreciate this,” said Duverge-Hilmers, who is married with two young children.
