FALCON HEIGHTS, Minn. – On May 5, 2015, a group of SPIRE Credit Union employees and family members gathered to pick up litter alongside a 2-mile stretch of Highway 23 just west of SPIRE’s Ogilvie, MN branch. This long-standing commitment to creating a cleaner environment spans 24 years, with the first cleanup taking place on June 4, 1991. Linda Thiele, SPIRE’s Isle Branch Manager said, “I have only missed one year in the 24 years we have been doing this. It’s a great program, and I find it rewarding to give back to the community.” Sheryl Olson, Manager Deposit Operations, said she’s only missed one or two years. “I am so proud of our staff,” said Dan Stoltz, SPIRE CEO, “this kind of event truly embraces SPIRE’s philosophy of improving our communities.”
