FALL RIVER, MASSACHUSETTS, - Throughout the month of June St. Anne’s Credit Union held an employee collection drive to benefit Buttonwood Park Zoo in New Bedford. SACU employees were able to reference the Zoo’s wish list to see what animal care and animal enrichment items were needed, the list included things ranging from pet carriers and pet toys to peanut butter and dried fruit. All together St. Anne’s employees collected five boxes and one giant tub full of items that were then dropped off at Buttonwood Park Zoo. In addition to the collection drive the Credit Union also held a Casual Day for a Cause to benefit the Buttonwood Park Zoological Society. In total, St. Anne’s employees donated $165 through the casual day that will go toward the Zoo’s education programs. Buttonwood Park Zoo is a wonderful part of the local community and SACU is happy to be able to support them and their animal residents.
