Sunrise, FL - BrightStar Credit Union, one of the largest credit unions in South Florida with more than 54,000 members, is participating in Neighbors 4 Neighbors ‘Operation: Candy Corn’ at all seven of its locations in Broward County. Operation: Candy Corn is a Halloween Costume Drive aimed to collect gently-worn costumes for kids, from toddlers through teens, from low-income families throughout Miami-Dade and Broward counties.
“Being able to dress up in costume on Halloween is something that a lot of us take for granted but there are children in our community whose families cannot afford to buy a costume,” said Dustin Jacobs, BrightStar Credit Union’s Marketing Director. “By joining Operation: Candy Corn, BrightStar Credit Union wants to make Halloween a special time for these families this season.”
Costumes will be collected until Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at the following seven BrightStar Credit Union locations whose lobby hours are Monday-Friday from 9am – 5pm and open Saturdays where noted below:
