Sioux Falls, SD - The Kindergarten class from McCook Central Elementary School in Salem, South Dakota recently paid a visit to Service First Federal Credit Union at the McCook branch. The visitors, including 33 kids in the class plus two teachers and helpers rode the bus to the credit union for the field trip. The kids were able to experience the members coming thru the drive-up, and also received a tour of the office. The class then performed a song at the credit union, that they call their “money denomination” song. Staff had the opportunity to discuss why the students would like to save money and how to become a “First Mates Member”, and each child received a gift bag containing “First Mates” items.
