The Maurie C. Byrne Chapter Holiday Party was held on Tuesday, December 8, at Santa’s Village/Lincoln Clubhouse in Grand Forks, ND. As part of the celebration, each chapter credit union member was asked to donate $50 and each attendee was asked to donate $5 to be donated to the Grand Forks County Foster Care program for Christmas. The chapter matched the donations from staff and volunteers, and $1,120 was raised that will be used to buy Christmas Gift Cards for kids in the program. The chapter also recognized Marney Kresel, retiring President/CEO of University FCU, for her many years of dedicated service to her Credit Union, the Maurie C. Byrne Chapter, and to the grand forks community. Kresel will retire on January 8
th after 25 years of service at the credit union.
