Bismarck, ND - Credit Union Association of the Dakotas employees selected the
Ronald McDonald House in Bismarck as our holiday charity this year. Staff began gathering items that are on their “Wish List” at Thanksgiving time, we dropped the items off to a very surprised and excited volunteer at the House this week. Our small staff was able to make a big impact on this local organization!
The Ronald McDonald House opened in Bismarck in 1992. The organization cares for the families of seriously ill children receiving medical treatment in Bismarck and Mandan. More than a place to stay, the House provides comfort and care for families when they need it most. While a child receives medical care in a local hospital, the House offers respite from hospital waiting rooms. Families find shoulders to cry on - other families experiencing the same hopes and fears. They find caring staff and volunteers. They find a safe, welcoming place to call home while they are far away from family and friends.
