CaptureThroughout 2015, Wildfire Credit Union employees have enthusiastically volunteered to pay to wear jeans in support of a number of local non-profits in the Great Lakes Bay Region.  “Wildfire’s Jean Days are a long standing tradition at the credit union and are always very successful.  It is a great way for our employees to support area charities that do so much to help others in our communities.  We make sure that our members know what organization we are supporting when we are wearing jeans to continue to heighten the awareness of the organization and their need for our support” said Michelle LeBlanc, Marketing & Public Relations Coordinator.  In 2015, Wildfire employees raised almost $10,000.  Below are the non-profits that benefited from the Jean Days: Mid-Michigan Children’s Museum                 Boys & Girls Club of the Great Lakes Bay Region Shelterhouse                                                      Bay Area Women’s Center Hidden Harvest                                                  Child & Family Services YWCA Great Lakes Bay Region                     CAN Council of the Great Lakes Bay Region Diaper Alliance                                                  Children’s Miracle Network READ                                                                   “I Support the 1%” Food Pantry for Veterans Survivors of Suicide                                          Saginaw Police K9’s Special Olympics Area 9, 22 & 30                   American Cancer Society PCUPS                                                                Humane Society (Saginaw, Bay & Midland Counties) Eastside Soup Kitchen                                     Wildfire’s Share the Warmth Campaign   Wildfire Credit Union, a member-owned financial cooperative, and has a community charter.  Membership is open for anyone who lives, works, worships or attends school in Saginaw, Midland, Bay, Tuscola, Gratiot, Genesee, Shiawassee, Antrim, Arenac, Benzie, Clare, Crawford, Gladwin, Grand Traverse, Iosco, Isabella, Kalkaska, Leelanau, Missaukee, Ogemaw, Otsego, Roscommon, Wexford counties.  The credit union also provides services to small businesses in the same twenty-three county market.  With two offices in Saginaw, an office in Midland and Bay City, Wildfire Credit Union is conveniently located for everyone.  More information is available on all Wildfire Credit Union’s products and services at www.wildfirecu.org
