American 1 Credit Union of Jackson, MI is dedicated to the communities they serve and feel strongly about giving back. On Saturday, February 9 from 10am to 2pm, over twenty local pet vendors will be in the American 1 Event Center at the Jackson County Fairgrounds for the American 1 Paws & Claws Pet Expo. Admission is free.
The event is a fundraiser for the Cascades Humane Society (CHS). Donations such as pet food, cat litter, animal treats, monetary donations, etc. will be accepted on behalf of CHS. Other featured events include a pet fashion show and a "Smooch the Pooch" kissing booth, a "Cutest Pet" photo contest, dog treat making and catnip pillow decorating.
