Grafton, ND - North Star Community Credit Union’s Seeds-2-$ave crew received a very special visit recently from Senator Heitkamp’s representatives Ryan Blumhagen and Cathy Peterson. The program, under the direction of Nanci Gale-Wilson, first drew the attention of the Senator after an article appeared in a feature story in the Walsh County Record. Wilson conceived of the idea during her DE Training last year, and the idea has grown from there – teaching young people how to plant, grow, harvest, and then sell their own products, saving some of the proceeds in the process
