Service First FCU Rummage Sale Raises $3,784 for Children's Miracle Network
October 19, 2012

Over a period of two weeks prior to the event, members of the credit union and the community donated items to be sold at the rummage. As a result, thousands of items were donated and a grand total of $3784.55 was raised at the sale. Every last penny was donated to Children’s Miracle Network.
According to Travis Kasten, President of Service First FCU, the money raised from the sale has put the credit union over the $25,000 goal that the credit union pledged to raise eighteen months ago.
“We were amazed at the overwhelming support from our members and the community,” said Service First VP of Operations, Mark Sundvold, “this was our first year using a rummage sale as a fundraiser, and the result far exceeded our expectations!”
