City & County CU launches Cash Perks, a new rewards program

ST. PAUL, Minn. – City & County Credit Union recently announced its launch of an enhancement to their debit card cash back rewards program: Cash Perks. Cash Perks is a free program that automatically provides money-saving offers to credit union members based on their shopping habits. Members activate these offers, typically 5-15% cash back on a purchase, through their online banking account, shop with their debit card, and the savings are automatically deposited into the members’ account.

“We are always searching for ways to provide compelling reasons why CCCU is the place to be for everyone in the East Metro,” said Matt Schewe, Vice President of Member Experience. “Launching a program like Cash Perks seemed like a natural progression in our efforts to continually provide the best services and rewards to our members.”

City & County Credit Union activated Cash Perks for its employees in March and has been working with Cardlytics, the technology company that developed this Card-Linked Marketing program, to improve the reward system to fit the specific needs of its members. Cash Perks is now available to all City & County Credit Union members with an active checking account and debit card.
