Washington D.C. award ceremony recognizes Affinity Plus for partnerships with local charitable causes and communities across the state.

ST. PAUL, MINN. (June 27, 2014) – Affinity Plus was honored with the “Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis Award Benefitting Local Communities” at the Jefferson Awards National Ceremony in Washington D.C., June 17. Past recipients include Walter Cronkite, Steve Jobs, Peyton Manning and Michael Bloomberg.

Affinity Plus was honored for its unique approach to empower members and employees to give back to communities throughout Minnesota, and ultimately for building a culture of service. Its program includes “Charity of Choice” relationships with Children’s Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota, Second Harvest Heartland, Special Olympics Minnesota, the American Red Cross Northern Minnesota Region, and the Affinity Plus Foundation. Children’s Hospitals and Clinics nominated Affinity Plus for the award.
