EECU Awards $100,000 in Grants for Students

Educational Employees Credit Union based in Fresno, CA, has awarded $100,000 in grants to members for college expenses during the 2015-2016 school year. Fifty members, chosen from 365 applicants, each received $2,000 grants. They were recognized at the credit union’s recent Annual Meeting, which was attended by more than 2,100 members and guests. Since the grant program began in 2003, EECU has awarded $975,000 in grants to 625 student members attending college, vocational or technical school, or pursuing professional training.
