First Commerce Credit Union showed its local support for the Florida Colleges Activities Association Men’s and Women’s State Basketball Tournament held at the Milton H. Johnson Health Center at Chipola College on March 6 – 9.
As the title sponsor of the Women’s Tournament, Jackson County Executive for First Commerce Credit Union, Chuck Hudson welcomed the players and started the first game of the tournament with tip-off. During the women’s championship game on Saturday, spectators registered at the First Commerce Credit Union table to participate in a half time shoot out for a chance to win $100. First Commerce Credit Union’s Kids Club mascot, Sammy Squirrel was at center court to challenge two spectators to a half court shot.
