Credit Union Donates to Emergency Housing Facility for Women and Children

IMCU_Sheltering Wings_final(Indianapolis, IN, April 2013)  Indiana Members Credit Union (IMCU), Central Indiana’s largest credit union, presented Sheltering Wings, an emergency housing facility for women and children affected by domestic violence located in Danville, IN, a donation of $375 as part of their participation in and sponsorship of the 2013 Hendricks County Home & Garden Show.  Sheltering Wings served as the charity partner for the inaugural Hendricks County Home & Garden Show and received proceeds from the event.  The check presentation took place at IMCU’s Plainfield Branch located at 2210 Stafford Road, on Wednesday, April 10, 2013 and was a result of ticket sales at IMCU’s Westside locations for the event. IMCU served as a Gold Sponsor for the 2013 Hendricks County Home & Garden Show and Ron Collier, CEO of IMCU stated, “We are delighted to have partnered with the Home Show for this event.  Being able to assist our community and support worthwhile organizations like Sheltering Wings is important and is part of the credit union philosophy of ‘People Helping People’”.
