Capital Credit Union of Bismarck, ND recently awarded seven 2013 recipients the $1,000 Howard J. Snortland Scholarships. The students selected were: Hannah Fishbeck, Kylie Helm, Erika Gallaway, Mark Muscha, Meghan Huber, Nicholas Hornbacher and Hayden Hermanson. Fishbeck will be attending the University of Minnesota for Accounting and Finance. Helm will be attending BSC for Nursing. Gallaway will be attending UND. Muscha will be attending the University of Mary for Criminal Justice. Huber will be attending the University of Mary for Exercise Science/Physical Therapy. Hornbacher is currently attending Minnesota State University Moorhead for English Communications/Social Studies. Hermanson is currently attending BSC for Mechanical Maintenance Technology.
Capital Credit Union has awarded 78 scholarships totaling $72,500 since 1996. Capital Credit Union gives the scholarships annually to high school seniors and current college students who show outstanding academic achievement and community involvement.
